New offering combines ongoing regression testing, expert analysis, and test maintenance to reduce risk and internal burden
TestAssure today announced the launch of Regression Management, a new offering designed to help enterprise organizations maintain regression testing as workforce management configurations evolve. The service gives customers an ongoing way to keep tests current, reduce payroll risk, and stay confident that employees are being paid correctly — without adding significant day-to-day burden to internal teams.
Workforce management environments do not stand still after implementation. System updates, policy changes, labor law changes, mergers and acquisitions, and other business changes can all affect timekeeping and accrual configurations over time. When those changes occur, tests can fail because the test itself needs to be updated or because there is a real configuration issue that requires action. Either way, outdated tests make it harder for organizations to know whether their WFM configuration is still working as intended.
TestAssure is launching Regression Management now to address a challenge many enterprise teams face: they understand the importance of ongoing testing, but often do not have the time or resources to keep tests updated as change continues. As a result, test suites can become stale, coverage can drift, and the value of the testing program can erode. Regression Management is designed to close that gap by giving customers a more structured, scalable way to maintain testing over time.
With Regression Management, TestAssure helps customers keep regression testing aligned to their live environment through a defined ongoing process. The offering includes regression test execution focused on timekeeping and accruals, review and analysis of test run results, regular summaries of issues and recommended actions, meetings to review findings and remediation needs, maintenance of existing automated functional test cases, and limited new test case creation each quarter for timekeeping pay rules or absence policies.
For customers, the benefit is not only that tests continue to run, but that they continue to stay relevant. By combining automated WFM testing with expert review and ongoing maintenance, TestAssure helps organizations reduce the risk of missed configuration issues, improve visibility into failures, and preserve confidence in payroll outcomes as their environments change. The model is especially valuable for teams with limited capacity for day-to-day test upkeep who still need strong ongoing coverage and clear guidance on next steps.
“Regression Management gives enterprise organizations a stronger way to control payroll risk as workforce configurations change,” said Luke Dusett, VP of Services at TestAssure. “By keeping regression testing current and helping customers quickly distinguish between a test gap and a real configuration problem, we’re helping leaders maintain confidence, strengthen oversight, and protect payroll compliance and integrity over time.”
Regression Management extends TestAssure’s broader approach to automated WFM testing, which is built to help enterprise organizations validate changes before they affect a paycheck.
